I was being silly again and I had a new microphone so I wanted to try it out with my Yamaha keyboard. My instrument world was upgrading and my songs were downgrading! What's going on here? Just kidding. Sometimes I just need to be silly I guess. Views: 136
Here's two samples of a really long song I wrote one time. It's over 9 minutes long. I kept morphing the sound of a tap I made on a glass up into different sounds and melodies. Then I started morphing other sounds. Overall it became a mixture of sounds that blend together somewhat well for 9 minutes long! Also, my cousin says something goofy in the middle. Views: 39
This song is funky. I sang a whole bunch of parts. People don't remember many of my songs but they remember this one. I think it's cause it has guitar and vocals in it. I don't know it's also got a cool jam and it chnages chords in the middle. That's a big thing, people subconsciously like when chords change in a song. Views: 92
I was really proud of this song at the time while I was about 15 or so and trying to write a really cool and original jazzy tune. I realize now this isn't jazz at all but either way it's a cool instrumental and electronic thing I wrote when I was too young to be writing music. A song I created in my apartment using the studio I built myself. I've been playing piano since I was a little boy and I never quit. I also love computers and especially the mixture of technology and sound. So, that's my thing. I also love to create websites.. I figure somehow all of these loves will sooner or later find a way to come together. I couldn't be happier with my hobbies. Views: 339
I had fun recording this song but it wasn't much more than just another one of my simple techno beats.. I can't remember if this one is the one that I did in C or A.. The more I think about it the more I think it was C. Well, anyways, I think it sounds good still.. even though I probably wouldn't write this song today if I were going to write a song. Views: 39
I remember when I wrote this song I was really proud of how cool and edgy it sounded. It was my favorite techno sounding song I had ever written as a teenager, with my 166 mhz computer, utilizing my 80's synth keyboard once again. I desperately needed to branch out to some new instruments at this time, I just didn't have them yet. Views: 54
