These are two samples of a really cool techno song I wrote. I really like this one. Some of the sounds filled in together really well and the blend is perfect. For example, I love how the piano starts out and then it builds up and crashes into a really cool techno sounding thing that matches perfectly. Views: 37
My friend Dan from Hooked on Tonics played this song on the piano.. well sorta.. he played it slightly different. His sounded more tropical if that's a good way of putting it. I thought I would take a song that I had already written and recorded and make it better and cooler. It turns out it isn't much cooler than the first one. It's just now more dance than techno. The horns in it were weird, I'm not sure if I would do that again if I were to do this song over today. It's still a pretty cool, groovy, and upbeat song though. Views: 38
When William Hung was really popular I saw lots of people were remixing William Hung's singing. I thought I'd play with it and I found that he sang it perfectly on key with the original except he just sounds way worse and had bad timing. So all I had to do to make it a techno jam was match up his words with the rhythm he meant to sing. None of the remixes I heard took the time to do that, but I had to cause I can't stand when things aren't on time. It seems essential. Views: 38
Here's two samples of a really long song I wrote one time. It's over 9 minutes long. I kept morphing the sound of a tap I made on a glass up into different sounds and melodies. Then I started morphing other sounds. Overall it became a mixture of sounds that blend together somewhat well for 9 minutes long! Also, my cousin says something goofy in the middle. Views: 39
I had fun recording this song but it wasn't much more than just another one of my simple techno beats.. I can't remember if this one is the one that I did in C or A..
